DAVAO MEDICAL SCHOOL FOUNDATION, PHILIPPINES (DMSF)
Philippines DMSF was the first college to be set up in Mindanao in the year 1976 on a sprawling campus near the commercial hub of Davao City. The Wikipedia refers to DMSF as one of the oldest Medical Schools in Mindanao and is ranked as one of the Best Medical Schools in the Philippines. It offers courses in Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, several graduate programs and lately Home Health Caregiver Course. It operates as a consortium made up of Ataneo de Davao University, the Brokenshire Memorial Hospital, the development of people's Foundation, the San Pedro College and San Pedro Hospital.
DMSF seeks to achieve its mission focusing through 3 main activities namely Instruction, Research and Extension.
The students are affiliated to Davao Medical Center, Davao Doctors' Hospital, San Pedro Hospital and Brokenshire Memorial Hospital for clinical rotation in the 3rd & 4th year.
